The Catherine McAuley Center’s Adopt A Family Program matches local individuals, families, schools and organizations with needy families and their children in Lackawanna County during the Christmas season. Thanks to the efforts of generous donors and volunteers, the Adopt-A-Family Program has helped deliver love and smiles to thousands of families during the holiday season.
Families in need are invited to register online at this web page on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at 9 a.m.
As in previous years, there are a limited number of spots available for families in need. After completing the online registration one of our Center caseworkers will call you to get wish list information for each family member.
Registration will close once the program has been filled.

The program is open to families in the respective counties that are at or below 150% of the federal poverty guidelines. If you reside in public housing, have section 8 or receive food stamps, medical assistance and/or cash assistance you will qualify.
