Golf Tournament

A fundraising golf tournament was started in 1990 and became an annual feature to the present time. It was sponsored by the Junior League of Luzerne County in 1993. Venues included the Irem Temple Country Club (Dallas, PA), the Fox Hill Country Club (West Pittston, PA) and for the past 15 years, Swing for Mercy, as it is now called, has been held at the Wyoming Valley Country Club (Wilkes-Barre, PA) organized by the Golf Committee and the Sisters of Mercy Development Office. Honoring a Woman of the Year began in 1996.
