Donor Spotlight: Pathways Consulting group

Established in 2006, Pathways
Consulting Group services the metropolitan New
York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New England and Mid-Atlantic region, helping
organizations align IT with their business goals, but the firm’s headquarters
is right here in Olyphant, PA.
When Pathways launched its WeCare
Community Outreach Program two years ago, the company felt it was important to
contribute to organizations within the greater Scranton area where most of its
team members live.
It was one of those team members
who nominated The Catherine McAuley Center as a beneficiary of the program’s
efforts.
“We were so inspired by what
Catherine McAuley Center does for the women and children in the area that we
felt strongly we needed to include you,” explained Pathways representative
Ashley Guyt.
Before COVID-19, the WeCare program
would collect monetary donations throughout a given month or two. At the end of
that time, they would go on a shopping trip, purchase as many items as they
could off a list of needed items, and then drop them off at the Center.
This past May, they were able to
collect $750 in cash donations while some team members ordered new bed linens
for McAuley clients and had them shipped directly to the Center. Collections
have continued through the month of June.
“When COVID19 struck, we couldn’t
help but think about all you do and the incredible struggles you must be going
through to continue to provide your services to the woman and children who so
desperately depend on the Center,” Guyt said. “We are truly amazed to see
how you have responded and continue to do everything that you possibly can
during these difficult times. We feel honored to continue to help.”
As if that were not generous
enough, WeCare Community Outreach also participated in the Catherine McAuley
Center’s Adopt-A-Family program last holiday season and is looking forward to
purchasing gifts for another family this winter.
Thank you,
Pathways Consulting Group!
